Front cover : Melocactus bahiensis It is almost as if this plant is saying “V for victory, pick me” as it hopes to win a prize card at the National Show. The plant belongs to Gillian Evison, who won Best Succulent in Show, and it was an exhibit in Class 37 where it was up against some stiff competition. It was finally awarded Highly Commended.
