As well as publishing its journal, CactusWorld, and yearbook, Bradleya, the Society also publishes a range of informative books and leaflets in order to educate about and disseminate information on cacti and succulents.
Through the expertise and contacts developed in publishing our journal and yearbook, the Society is well placed to assist authors to bring their books to market. The Society has the in-house expertise to take a book from the manuscript stage to printer’s proofs, with the added advantage that the people doing the work understand the subject and the target market. In order to maintain the high standards the Society sets itself, the Society limits the number of books published each year to ensure they get the best treatment possible and to maximise sales. Through our worldwide membership, contacts in the hobby and relevant traders the Society can ensure your book gets maximum exposure and sales.
It is important to note the Society is not a commercial publishing house, it only publishes books and other items that fit with its objectives as a charitable organisation.
Additionally the Society is happy to work with partners, such as Kew Publishing, to enable larger books (eg Aloes: The Definitive Guide) that would otherwise not be published, to reach a wide audience.
